Kim Clark
Kim Clark moved his family to Cokeville in 1990 where they attended their first community July 24th Pioneer Day festivities. A couple of years later, Kim had the idea to start a rodeo to be included in the 24th festivities. Kim, along with his wife, kids, and a few friends, got together and established the Cokeville Stock & Saddle Club.
The first few meetings they came up with a name for the rodeo club, as well as a flag that is still carried around the arena today. They also organized the rodeo royalty pageant so the young girls of Cokeville could be involved. Countless hours were spent building the rodeo arena and getting the grounds ready for the first rodeo. Fundraisers and raffles were held to acquire money to get the rodeo started.
Kim served as President of the CSSC for 5 or 6 years, until he handed it over to the next in line. He continued to help with the rodeo afterwards in any way he could — including being one of the judges for the rodeo royalty pageant.
The rodeo is still part of the festivities today.

What a wonderful submission shared with us by Kim’s daughter, Stephanie. Kim Clark was absolutely pivotal in getting the CSSC established and the rodeo under its own entity.
We are extremely grateful to Kim and his family for their contributions to the Cokeville Rodeo.
Kim, we honor you this day, and We Remember the sacrifices, hours, phone calls, organizing, and talent that went into your time as President and afterwards.
Thank you, Kim.
